Where are your products manufactured?

Chassie products are designed, manufactured, and shipped from our advanced manufacturing and design studio in The Bronx.  95% of our supply chain consists of businesses within 100 miles.

What are your products made from? 

Chassie products are primarily made out of aerospace grade aluminum and FSC certified baltic birch plywood. 

Where does the name Chassie come from? 

Chassie is a revised spelling of the french word chassis, which usually means the frame or foundation of a machine. Just like a car chassie that can have various options,  our job is to create the frame - the basic structure - upon which artists can produce inspired designs and you can do your life’s work. 


Can I cancel or change my order? 

Send us a note at hello@chassie.com. In some cases we may be able to change your order to a different design if done with 48 hours of purchase. 

Can you do custom orders? 

Our life’s work to is to make something special just for you. Send us a note at hello@chassie.com to get started on a custom project. 

How do I check my order status? 

You will receive an email to let you know your product is ready to ship. If you have a specific question send us a note at hello@chassie.com

Where can I see Chassie desks in person?

We love visitors. Come visit us at our studio, located conveniently off the Cypress Ave 6 train stop in the Bronx, NYC. 

Do you offer pickups at your Studio in the South Bronx?

We love visitors and we especially love seeing the looks on our customers faces when they see their own Chassie desk for the first time. Email hello@chassie.com to arrange your pickup. 


Can I use Chassie products outdoors? 

No, Chassie products are for indoor use only. 

How do I clean the product? 

We recommend warm water and a soft cloth. 

Are there any VOCs in the desk top?

Chassie products are manufactured with negligible VOCs and meet or exceed the most stringent industry guidelines regarding chemical use.

Is it possible to only purchase the desk top?

Is there anything I should avoid putting on my desk? 

Avoid high heat on the desktop surface and remember to clean using warm water and (if necessary) mild soap.  

Will direct sunlight impact the color of the desk? 

As with any furniture, over time direct sunlight may cause fading or discoloration to both the legs and desktop. We recommend keeping the desk away from direct sunlight if possible.

What types of payments do you accept? 

We accept all major credit cards as well as G-Pay, ApplePay, and PayPal. 

Can I place my order by phone? 

Yes, you may reach us at 347 830 6020 to place an order.

Will my card be charged at checkout or time of shipment? 

You will be charged at checkout. 

Do you charge sales tax? 

By law, Chassie charges sales tax at New York rates. 


Where do you ship?

Chassie ships throughout the US. For international orders please contact us at hello@chassie.com

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is $49.99 within the continental US. Outside of the continental US the customer pays for shipping. 

How quickly will my order ship?

We aim to have your Chassie product finished within 2 weeks (often sooner) at our Bronx studio and shipping takes up to 1 weeks.

Can you expedite shipping?

Yes. To expedite an order, please email hello@chassie.com and have your order number handy. 

Can I ship my order to a PO box? 

Unfortunately not. 

Can I pay extra to have someone come to my house to assemble the desk? 

If you are in NYC or within 30 miles of our studio in the Bronx we will deliver and install for $150, this can be selected during checkout or you can email hello@chassie.com to schedule. 

Will I get a call when the desk is being delivered? 

You will be notified by email or text with your shipment tracking details once you desk is complete.  

Can I place my order on hold/can you deliver after a certain date? 

No problem. Send us a note at hello@chassie.com to give us the details. 


What is your return policy?

We want to make sure you love where you work, and if you aren't happy with your Chassie product we offer a 30 day risk free return policy. For a full refund, returned products need to be like new and shipped back in original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Showroom samples and custom orders will not be eligible for return.

What do I do if I received a damaged or defective shipment? 

Please send us a note to hello@chassie.com with your order number and pictures of the damage. We'll do our best to make it right.

What is the Five-Year Move With You Warranty

Chassie desks and tables are built to stand the test of time and are engineered to move with you as life takes you to new places. In addition to our manufacturer’s warranty covering workmanship and defective materials, we guarantee our tables and desks can be assembled and disassembled at least five times (and usually many many more). There are no fees to repair or replace any item that is covered by our warranty. More details on our warranty can be found here


Do you offer trade discounts? 

Yes, we offer exceptional discounts to verified members of the architectural and interior design trades. 

Do you work with retailers? 

In special situations we work with retailers to sell Chassie pieces. As always, be in touch at hello@chassie.com. 

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders? 

Yes, send us a note at hello@chassie.com and we'll see what we will put together a proposal. 

What is your lead time for bulk orders?

We are typically able to fulfill large orders on the same production timeline as single units, but please be in touch about your specific needs.
